An exercise class for MUMS, and BABY comes too !!!

buggEfit

Who are we ?

Being mums ourselves as well as fitness instructors, we understand how hard it is to get back into shape after having a baby as well as how difficult it is to find somewhere to exercise without joining a private club or trying to sort out crèche places or a babysitter. The buggEfit classes aim to provide a place where mums can come along and feel good about themselves by exercising with a group of women in the same situation as them where they can chat and bring their babies with them.

Elaine Luck

If you’ve met me you may have realised that I am in fact from Scotland although being married to an Englishman and having left Scotland 11 years ago has watered down the accent a touch– unless a few glasses of wine have been consumed.

My initial background was in Human Resources and Training for the Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh and National Bank in Kuwait before having my son Cameron in 1999.  Due to the very generous 40 day maternity leave I decided not to go back and Cam was followed by Rebecca in Jan 2001.

Having been always slightly ‘chubby / cuddly’ but occasionally sporty (school days), I got into exercise classes to try and lose the baby weight.  Bizarrely I was convinced by my sister, to do my aerobics instructor course just before my 30th birthday—scary—and following that taught various types of classes in Kuwait for a year before we moved back to the UK.

Celia Stinton

My name is Celia also originally from Scotland and have been actively involved in the fitness industry for some 17 years now.

I qualified in Glasgow as a fitness instructor in my mid twenties before moving to Melbourne, Australia in 1995. When in Oz I undertook further study obtaining Australian accredited fitness qualifications followed by an extensive personal training course.

We found ourselves in Poole where I grabbed the opportunity to do a 3 month personal trainer course. I spent the next 4 years, teaching Classes, doing Personal training, & Massage  and was eventually introduced to buggyfit—a franchise my friend had invested in.  We did classes at the beach and at the park and they went down a storm with the Dorset ladies. Four years on and we’re back in the Middle East living it up in the sun in Dubai !!

In Dubai, I spend my week being a mum, teaching Legs Bums & Tums and Body Combat for the Hayya Meadows, doing buggEfit classes in various locations, Personal Training, Relaxation Massage and soon, a Weight Management Programme. My aim with all my work is to combine all my knowledge (life and learned )and enthusiasm to create fun, realistic training that actually works.  Come and join us and bring your friends !!

In 2000 my husband and I moved to Adelaide, South Australia to enjoy the grape, where I opened a personal training studio called Eveolve specialising in women's health and fitness . While at Eveolve I also worked with a local Physio practice called Smartball in hosting workshops for other health related professionals teaching techniques for core training and rehabilitation.

In 2004 we moved to Dubai - I took up work as a gym manager with Fitness Planet in Satwa where I continued to do classes and personal training. We moved from that part of town to Emirates Hills and I took a 6 month sabatical when I discovered I was pregnant. After having Amelie in November 2006 I resumed my fitness routine in February 2007 doing personal training at the Lakes, later meeting Elaine where the
buggEfit story begins......."
